About My Clients

I support individuals navigating loss, grief, and trauma, helping them build resilience through self-awareness and connection. My clients seek a compassionate space to process emotions, heal relational wounds, and regain a sense of control. I work with those facing life transitions, past trauma, or overwhelming emotions, offering guidance rooted in understanding and trust. Together, we create a path toward healing, self-compassion, and stronger relationships.

My Background and Approach

I earned my MSW from ASU in 2005 and have been an LMSW since 2007. With a trauma-informed approach, I understand that we all experience losses—whether of people, places, or things that hold deep meaning. Grief is universal, yet as unique as a thumbprint. I believe that everyone is capable of growth, healing, and positive change when given a safe, compassionate space to express emotions and process loss, grief, and trauma. My work is rooted in connection and understanding, creating a supportive environment where clients feel seen and heard. Healing is not about forgetting but about moving through and learning to live after experiencing loss and trauma. My goal is to help clients navigate the complexities of general mental health, grief and trauma, fostering resilience and self-awareness, so they can rebuild and cultivate deeper connections with themselves and others.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person, guided by my commitment to human rights and social justice. With a background rooted in advocacy, I am deeply aligned with the NASW Code of Ethics, upholding values of respect, integrity, and service to others. My work emphasizes trauma-informed care, recognizing how past experiences shape present well-being. I specialize in loss, grief, and trauma, providing a compassionate space to process complex emotions. Additionally, I have a strong focus on perinatal mental health, supporting individuals navigating the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self. By honoring each individual’s unique journey, I aim to help them move through difficult experiences and emerge with resilience, deeper self-awareness, and the tools to thrive.
