About My Clients
My clients are adults who are grieving. They feel blindsided by the reality of their loss and the way their life has changed. Many feel alone in their grief, have wondered if there is something wrong with them, and are confused about how to carry on with life. They have experienced major life change, bereavement, divorce, or traumatic grief (loss of a child, death by suicide, unexpected death, medically traumatic death, etc.) They come for a safe place to learn how to cope with life after loss.
My Background and Approach
Grief is the backpack you wear every day, and it’s so heavy. You hold it together all day and then collapse into tears the moment you get home. Maybe you’ve tried to “move through the stages” of grief but that doesn’t feel quite right. Maybe the advice you’ve received about how to grieve leaves you feeling alone and confused. Grief is misunderstood and minimized in our culture. Thankfully, there’s a way to carry grief rather than “fix it”, to learn to cope with the waves, and to have compassionate support to validate and channel grief and love. I've been in practice for over a decade and focus solely on helping people cope with grief. I'm a Certified Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider and a provider through the Center for Prolonged Grief. Clients describe me as calm, helpful, and peaceful. My training and experience allow me to see the road ahead, and I have hope for you. Healing is possible after loss. Let’s gently and compassionately pick up the pieces.

I strive for honesty about how hard life is, education so you know what to expect, and building forward momentum at a gentle and attainable pace.
