My Background and Approach
With over two decades of experiences and higher level education in the science and art of understanding human development, learning, and healing. In our therapy sessions together, I will integrate this knowledge with narrative and systems theory to give practical tools and reflective insight while we discover who you are, now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am queer-affirming and believe that cultural humility is essential for developing self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-acceptance. I believe trust should be earned, and agency will be respected at every step of our journey together as you develop into who you are, now. Outside of the therapy room, I am a board member on the local professional organization for therapists, and a social justice advocate.
