About My Clients

Are you feeling weighed down by trauma's effects on your life, processing the kind of profound grief that accompanies a major loss, or feeling buried under the weight of a life transition? A simple yet profound piece of wisdom I have learned is that we can't carry this kind of pain alone. It is an honor to walk alongside those who feel they have lost their connection to joy only to discover, that with the right kind of support, the vibrant and resilient person inside was never really gone.

My Background and Approach

The support I will provide for you integrates a multi-faceted approach to therapy. Guided by Trauma-Informed principles you will learn why our brains function the way they do and how trauma affects our nervous system. We will gently explore your past and in the process uncover fundamental information about how it affects who you are today. I will tenderly listen to and hold your stories and experiences. Together we will discover how to make the changes you seek so that your life will feel authentically connected to who you truly are. While we cannot change our pasts, we can evolve our pain into profound growth. I have the tools, training, and heart to do this delicate work and while it isn't always easy, it will be a great honor to do it together and watch over time as you blossom and grow.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that with the right kind of support, everyone can change. Most beautifully, It is an incontrovertible fact that organisms change. It is when we don't have the understanding, insight, and support we need that we lose sight of this possibility. When I was young I suffered from trauma, panic attacks, and the life-altering effects of grief. Through my own therapy and education, I learned how to understand, process, and accept this pain. Today, what I have been through has shaped me but it no longer controls or defines me. My ability to feel joy, to laugh until I cry, and to cherish the beautiful moments in this life has returned to me, and I want to share that kind of profound healing with you. If you want to learn more about how I can help, reach out when you're ready. I'll be here.
