About My Clients
Many of my clients are high achievers who've built a life that works on paper, but who privately struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty letting themselves be seen as anything less than capable. Every relationship starts with a consultation call (20 minutes) - a chance for us to talk about what's bringing you in and figure out together whether EMDR, and whether working with me, is the right fit. From there, we choose the format that works best for your life and your goals.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 17+ years in psychotherapy, practicing EMDR since 2019. Much of my early work was in community mental health and correctional settings, alongside people facing complex trauma and real systemic barriers — experience that shaped my belief that lasting change means going to the root, not managing symptoms on the surface. EMDR does exactly that. Instead of only talking through the past, it helps the brain and body reprocess what's stuck, so old experiences stop driving present-day anxiety, self-doubt, or reactivity. I'm an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and continue training under Deany Laliotis at the Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, keeping my approach current and grounded in relational EMDR work. I offer EMDR weekly or as intensives (half-day to full-day) — whichever fits your goals. My role is to hold a steady, structured space where that work can happen safely and move forward.
