Sometimes you can’t find the words to express what's inside. Anxiety leaves you feeling overwhelmed and stuck. You can no longer manage everything and live the life you want. You fear letting others down. Worry takes up all your energy leaving you exhausted. You seek balance in your life and wish you felt more fulfilled in your relationships. Therapy is space just for you to find relief and practice the change you seek.
My Background and Approach
I am somatic based psychotherapist with years of practice treating anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. My goal as a therapist is for you to be able to find a practice for self support and be able to actively engage in therapy as a healing space. My clients are ready to get started actively engaging and experiencing relief through somatic or mindfulness practices, many for the first time. We work on understanding your stress response patterns and explore ways to find resolution and settle your nervous system. In addition to my experience as a psychotherapist and training in somatic therapies, I practice Aikido, a martial art focused on self development, connection and redirecting conflict. I can help you create a practice for centering self in the face of conflict and tension, to help regulate your body, face self doubts and challenges. By incorporating your own daily practice with exercises or tools, you will start to notice changes your day to day life.
