About My Clients
Do you feel like anxiety or low mood is always whispering in your ear? Like every day you’re trying to keep up but behind the scenes, you’re carrying so much weight? Maybe your motivation has dropped, or your thoughts feel like too much. As someone with Polish and Irish roots, I get how culture, family dynamics, and tradition can shape the way we deal with emotions, mental health, and asking for help. With a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, I prefer to work with teens and adults.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in supporting teens (13+) and young adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood fluctuations, identity questions, and the stress of big transitions — from high school to college, from living at home to living on your own, or from “functioning” to finally healing. I draw from person‑centered therapy, CBT, DBT‑informed strategies, and mindfulness‑based practices, always adapting to your unique needs and pace. My work is also trauma‑informed, and I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. The therapeutic process is not about fixing you, you are not broken and your mental health matters. It is about creating space where you have the ability to build coping skills, have a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards achieving goals that are meaningful to you. As a teenager, I struggled with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Through my therapeutic journey, I learned how to navigate challenges associated with depression and anxiety with the appropriate tools, and I hope that I can assist you with doing the same.
