About My Clients

I support people feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, stress, or trauma that keep the body on high alert or numb, disconnected from calm, pleasure, or ease. I work with people ready to heal through the body, as well as the mind. Others are also exploring non-monogamy and want support with authenticity, trust, and belonging. I'm passionate about uplifting stories of immigration. People I see seek more than survival; they long to feel grounded, alive and connected to pleasure.

My Background and Approach

I’ve been a therapist for over 15 years, and a big part of that time was spent working with kids and families around complex trauma and anxiety. I learned that our early experiences shape so much of how we show up in the world—and that real healing happens when we feel safe, supported, and seen. I help people slow down, notice what’s happening in their nervous system, and begin to find more ease, pleasure, and connection in their lives. Right now I’m completing advanced training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), which means I bring the body's sensations into the process alongside talk therapy, which is great if you feel disconnected, tense, or panicky at times. If you're opening up your relationship or non-monogamous, we can explore the f-yeah or f-no that's coming up, or find it if you feel numb or shutdown. I also draw from mindfulness, narrative therapy, DBT skills, and polyvagal theory. Together we'll explore how to feel more alive and grounded.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Healing, for me, happens in mind, body, and nervous system together, in spaces that honor safety, connection, community, and authenticity. Outside of this space, I actively work with other people of privilege to challenge social norms and advance racial justice. I am active in the ENM community and an ally to LGBTQ2S+ individuals, with non-judgment central to my work. Immigration experiences and early work with political refugees and sex trafficking survivors are woven into my life that shaped my ideas. Connection, pleasure, love, abolition, parenting, the natural world and dance inspire and sustain me, and I bring these values into my practice to support clients in feeling fully seen, embodied, and alive.
