About My Clients
I work with people of all ages- from adolescents, adults, and seniors. I am passionate about providing mental health to those in underserved populations, particularly the LGBTQ+ community. I recognize that their struggles particularly with mental health are often neglected and that quality care is often hard to find due to the heteronormative culture. I have a lot of experience working with the helpers in the world- from those working in healthcare, first responders, and caregivers.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I am located in the small-ish town of Ocala, Florida. I understand it can be difficult to find community and support, especially when living in a rural, isolated area. I believe that gender-affirming care is essential to mental health. I have had the pleasure to work with clients in the LGBTQ+ community for over 10 years. I have worked with people from all walks of life- from transgender teens battling depression to seniors who have been fearful about coming out their whole lives due to stigma.
