About My Clients
You're the one everyone calls when they need something. You're dependable, capable, and endlessly understanding—right up until you're alone, and the exhaustion catches up with you. Maybe you've spent years putting your own needs last. Maybe your relationships feel one-sided, or you've lost track of what you actually want. Maybe you're carrying something from your past that never got the space it needed. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to keep doing this alone.
My Background and Approach
My approach blends feminist, narrative, and Adlerian therapies—focusing on systems and mindfulness. I am direct. I'll challenge you when it's useful, and I'll soften when you need warmth instead. I have a particular depth of comfort working with attachment, sexual issues within relationships, and supporting survivors of sexual violence—areas many therapists may shy away from, I lean into. Before starting my clinical training, I spent 20 years as a sex educator and hold a post-graduate degree in Forensic Sexology with a completed Sexual Attitude Reassessment certificate (SAR). If sex, intimacy, or your body have felt off-limits in past therapy, they don't have to be here.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe your emotional health can't be separated from the systems you live inside—the expectations placed on you as a human, a partner, a child, an employee, a parent. If you've spent years over-accommodating everyone else, that's not a character flaw. It's often the most reasonable response to an unreasonable amount of pressure. I also understand self-advocacy firsthand. After years of trying to grow my family, I became a parent later than I expected. Not long after, I started noticing changes in my body that doctors dismissed for years, until I pushed hard enough to finally get answers and the care I needed. That experience taught me, in a very personal way, what it costs to keep advocating for yourself when no one is listening—and how much it changes your life when someone finally does.
