About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples navigating all of the complexities of the journey to parenting. Whether you are trying to conceive, going through fertility preservation or fertility treatments, grappling with loss, preparing for a new baby, or are in the trenches with parenting, it can be a critical time for support. I support birthing people of all gender identities, non-birthing partners and caregivers, and teen parents.
My Approach to Helping
I practice from a strengths-based perspective, utilizing feminist psychotherapy and attachment principles to guide my work. I draw from various modalities to best suit your needs and take a very relational approach. Whether you want to grow your support system, develop some practical tools, or have a space to grieve, I believe in the power of a real relationship. I believe deeply that connecting with your needs and values, as well as cultivating true self-compassion, is a path to health and liberation. I hope to be a part of that critical journey with you. I am also trained in Level 1 and 2 Gottman Couples Therapy and encourage couples/relationship systems to attend to their needs during the many transitions of parenting.
My Values as a Therapist
Reproductive justice in critical to my work. The health of pregnant and birthing people is inextricably bound to racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and dismantling patriarchy. I volunteer with a parenting warm line as peer support because I believe we all need and deserve a kind ear and connection to resources. We were told there was going to be a village--turns out we need to build it.
