About My Clients
When working with clients, my intention is to develop a therapeutic relationship that explores both the conscious and unconscious parts of yourself. I strive to provide a non-judgmental, compassionate environment with a laid-back, personalized approach. I provide clinical services to individuals, couples and adult families seeking emotional support in relationships and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I completed my undergraduate degree from Miami University in 2011 majoring in Speech Communication, with a minor in Jewish Studies. I worked in marketing prior to pursuing a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron, completing my master's clinical training through an internship at Healing Pathways Cleveland. I utilize a trauma-informed approach with somatic experiencing/mind-body connection, attachment theory, inner child work, mindfulness-based therapy, and also provide Gottman couples assessments.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Starting therapy and finding the right therapist can be overwhelming, so I understand how beneficial it is to find a therapist who both supports and challenges you. I believe every client is unique and complex. Finding deeper meaning and having a clear understanding of how experiences impact us creates everlasting change. I am strongly supportive of all backgrounds and I am LGBTQ+ friendly. My personal interests are seeing live music, local food and traveling.
