About My Clients

My clients are an amazing and diverse group of individuals seeking increased self awareness, growth, and empowerment. If you feel stuck, if you’re down on yourself, if your gut tells you something is off, if you’re strugglig with relational challenges, a lack of vitality, or emotions that feel out of control we can work together to bring about the movement you desire. I see individuals, couples, and adolescents. I specialize in working with sexual assault survivors, and artists & creatives

My Background and Approach

Years ago while training in Trigger Point Therapy I experiencing first hand how trauma is stored in our cells until integrated or released. This lead to a deep passion for learning all that I could to help clients experience an easing up or subsiding of symptoms related to trauma and anxiety, replaced with an expansive sense of well-being, peace, and purpose. A long time resident of San Francisco, I received an MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Psychotherapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Additional education includes training at the Center For Somatic Psychotherapy, certification in all Psycho-Physical Therapy Professional Trainings, EMDR, and trainings in SE, EFT, Mindsight, Mindful Self-Compassion, Body Mind Centering, Focusing, and IFS. My approach is a blend of Somatic, Relational and Psychodynamic Theory’s. Specializing in supporting sexual assault survivors I facilitate an ongoing group, Surviving & Thriving; Healing Sexual Trauma.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I welcome and value diversity, including all sexualities, genders, body sizes, abilities, races, and viewpoints, and strive to provide a supportive, safe, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship to assist you in moving toward your stated goals of emotional, physical, and relational health. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and that we are equipped with the inner resources to do so. It is through the foundation of supportive empathic relationship that these resources are awakened, wounds and defenses loosen their grip, and we come to discover our true nature, our full creative expression of self. If any of this resonates with you I encourage you to contact me, we can discuss steps to create movement toward your unique vision of health, vitality, and the future you wish to grow.
