About My Clients

I help women feel empowered and anchored in their lives. I focus on mental health (mainly depression and anxiety) through a holistic lens. My clients are open and eager for change; together we identify needs, wants, and explore what it looks like to thrive in your life. We’ll explore your mental health, tap into creativity around self-care, discuss coping skills and interventions, and explore your well-being from a multi-faceted lens. I’m so excited for the opportunities in front of you!

My Background and Approach

As an eclectic practitioner I deeply believe therapy is not one size fits all. You deserve an approach tailored to your needs, wants, goals, and vision. I draw from a variety of modalities, frameworks, and interventions: CBT, DBT, psychoeducation, narrative therapy, interpersonal skills, communication/boundaries, coping skills, etc. My goal is to give you a framework to better understand your problem and give you effective and supportive treatment options and coping skills to manage it. The more tools you have in your tool belt, the more options you have for effectively handling your problems. I'm a non-directive person-centered therapist with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. I am passionate about meeting people where they are and as they are. I work through an individualized, holistic, integrated, and person-centered lens. Through therapy you’ll gain support, insight, coping skills, and be better equipped to successfully work through your stressors and problems independently.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In my career I've enjoyed working with a diverse group of clients-each storied individual an exquisite example of the infinite and varied constellations existing within the human experience. Our uniqueness makes our struggles unique, as well. Everything has an impact-genes, environment, family...we're a sum of all our experiences. I am a strong supporter and believer in growth, change, and healing-and that healing does not necessarily mean the absence of wounding or pain but instead careful tending as we grow. We have the capacity to grow throughout our lifetime; it's never too late to seek it for yourself! I'm a proud therapist who goes to therapy themselves and believe it's important to be authentic and visible about my own experiences to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, diagnoses, and taking medication. I'm a part of the LGBTQIA community. I'm a homebody who loves adventure. On weekends I can be found spending time with my family & our plethora of pets-coffee in hand.
