About My Clients
If you find yourself grappling with trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, self-esteem, or simply want a space to be heard, we may be a good match. I believe every version of you deserves love and support. Together, we will cultivate a collaborative space for exploration, growth, and healing.
My Background and Approach
If trauma and anxiety have left you feeling disconnected and unsafe, I’d be honored to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and healing. You may feel stuck in survival mode, and want to learn how to recover a sense of stability. Maybe you're feeling ready to break free from patterns that have been holding you back, and develop the skills to help you cope with life's challenges. If you're struggling to navigate confusing relationships, I'm happy to help explore the deeper meaning of these experiences. Even if you’ve been struggling for a long time, progress is possible in a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. I use mindfulness-centered techniques like somatic experiencing to enhance awareness and deepen the mind-body connection. I provide EMDR, offering compassionate sessions to help you process and heal from past traumas. I integrate polyvagal theory, so you can better understand and address stress responses, fostering empowerment and a deeper sense of safety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our bodies hold inherent wisdom, and my practice focuses on helping you connect with it. I recognize the impact of capitalism, race and gender on wellness. I have a history in public health and political advocacy for LGBTQ+ and women's issues, operate from a racial justice-centered framework and use a trauma-informed lens when working with clients. I believe that every version of you is deserving of love and support.
