As a therapist I have helped people get to the root of problems, find new ways of communication, and strengthen your connection within their relationships. People might not even realize the impact their relationship might be having on emotional, mental, or physical health until they start to explore feelings with a counselor one-on-one.

Aa a therapist I have helped people struggling with depression identify options for the future and set realistic goals that enable them to enhance their mental and emotional well-being. I also helped individuals identify how they have successfully dealt with similar feelings in the past. People will explore other learned thoughts and behaviors that create problems and contribute to depression while regain a sense of control and pleasure in life.

I have helped clients through a cognitive component of therapy, clients learn to understand how their thoughts contribute to their anxiety symptoms. By learning to challenge those thought patterns, they can reduce the likelihood and intensity of anxiety symptoms. It is also important for individuals to develop skills to manage anxiety symptoms then they arise.
