About My Clients
Whether you’re stretched thin by stress, navigating a major life transition, or stuck in relationship gridlock, you shouldn’t have to waste your session educating your therapist on how your world works. From artists, parents, and professionals to monogamous couples, consensual non-monogamy (CNM) partners, LGBTQ+ clients, and military or security-cleared Beltway leaders, I offer a direct, judgment-free space to put the armor down and trade resentment for honest connection.
My Background and Approach
Together, we replace "Guess Culture," where you hint and walk on eggshells, with "Ask Culture," where stating your desires and boundaries directly feels safe. Using a structured, action-oriented roadmap that blends the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based work, and Intercultural Communication, I help couples and individuals quiet anxious overthinking, rebuild trust, and reclaim their daily bandwidth. As a seasoned BIPOC male therapist, 20-year U.S. Army veteran, and former Intelligence Community leader, I bring nearly three decades of mentorship, campaign organizing, and hard-earned wisdom that doesn't come from a textbook. Our first 2–3 sessions map out a clear, practical plan tailored to your goals so you leave with tools that stick.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone deserves quality, culturally grounded, and affirming care from the very first conversation. As a National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) Kink Aware Professional and longtime community organizer, I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive space where all identities and relationship structures are respected. I offer in-person sessions overlooking the Baltimore Inner Harbor (1414 Key Highway, Suite 300 on Tue/Wed) and telehealth across Maryland (Mon afternoon–Fri), including 70-minute extended sessions.
