About My Clients
I work with individuals across the lifespan suffering from a variety of psychological concerns, including depression, mood disorders such as Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, and personality disorders. I may be a good fit for individuals looking to navigate identity issues, adjustment to life transitions, spiritual concerns, and loss of meaning and purpose, as well as to manage stress, and cultivate more fulfilling relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with clients across the lifespan and received rigorous training in the application of evidence-based clinical competencies, with a specialized focus on depth-oriented therapy modalities, including psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential therapies. Additionally, I am also attentive to issues of diversity and culture and the impact of sociocultural factors on psychological concerns. My therapeutic approach draws from critical and liberation psychology, and involves exploration of the ways that oppressive power structures impact mental health, as well as the role that culture plays in shaping the context of clients’ everyday lives.
