About My Clients
I invite clients to explore who they are, their stories, and what causes pain, reducing their movement to thrive. Trust, safety, and empathy are employed to encourage collaboration. My approach invites clients to explore their “pain” and discover how their pain’s intention leads to certain behaviors and patterns that decrease movement toward growth. Encouraging mutual trust and exploration of what causes us “to get stuck.”
My Background and Approach
My relational psychoanalytical approach is dynamic and employs a mutual emotional relationship that we co-create in a shared space. I am the wrong therapist for you if you are looking for a white coat analyst who tends not to lean in, express felt emotions, or process collaboratively. A shared co-processing space enables me to understand your inner world, which invites you to bravely develop an increased awareness of how your inner world impacts your external world. As we relationally explore thoughts, relationships, feelings, and behaviors in both conscious and unconscious ways, you can begin to engage your external world differently, employing new lenses, skills, and outlooks. The relational path requires active and genuine engagement leading to a trusting therapeutic alliance. In my own life, authentic transformation and change have often occurred when authenticity and courage to lean in together come to life. Isolation is the killer.
