About My Clients
My clients tend to be introspective and ready to explore their deep-rooted stories and tendencies. We explore attachment and the gamut of trauma (little t to big T). Often, the work includes empowering the underserved and more intimate aspects of ourselves; many of my clients seek to improve their sexual and relational well-being. I welcome neurodivergence and folks with a trauma history.
My Background and Approach
My specialization in human sexuality lends itself to a more intimate understanding of the human experience. I've worked with clients across the spectrum of trauma, including medical trauma, and have work experience in both domestic violence and community mental health. I take a holistic perspective of present and historical stressors, while contextualizing the individual experience in the broader social environment. My approach is validating, empowering, and gently supportive of self-awareness and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all feel at some point in our lives (sometimes for long periods) that there is something wrong with us, that we are alone in one or multiple aspects of our identities. My hope is to shine a light on those lonely parts of ourselves, and either challenge the self-limiting beliefs holding them back, or confront the real cultural and societal influences that lend to that loneliness and help clients find connection.
