Your needs matter. I love helping clients discover their boundaries and learn to uphold them in relationships. By fostering self-awareness, enhancing self-esteem, and developing healthy coping strategies, I help my clients shift their focus from external validation to internal growth.

Anxiety can feel terrible and cause problematic behaviors like avoidance. This can cause someone to feel like they’re not living their life to the fullest. Sometimes anxiety is limited to specific environments like social settings. Other times, anxiety can feel like non-stop worrying. When treating anxiety, I equip my clients with an arsenal of tools that they can put into practice in the moment. These tools include: coping skills, grounding techniques, and mindfulness practices.

I work from a trauma-informed perspective integrating a variety of interventions tailored to client needs. Together, we learn how trauma has impacted the mind and the body. If you're working to resolve issues of trauma, you can anticipate learning more about the somatic experience of the nervous system and flight/fight response, mindfulness practices, and guided imagery to learn necessary skills of compartmentalization and establishing safety within the Self.

Learning to live in the "here and now" is difficult in today's society. I love integrating mindfulness-based therapy into treatment to help my clients dismantle anxiety, depression, and nervous system activation. Mindfulness-based therapy is an incredible tool to manage a variety of mental health issues.

Psychodynamic therapy is a client-directed approach to understand thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Learning these origins can be helpful in breaking free from learned traits and modeled behaviors.
