My Background and Approach
I utilize trauma informed therapy tools to include skill building to challenge cognitive distortions, emotional regulation, distress tolerance building, processing and reprocessing trauma integrated with somatic and emotion focused therapy. My approach puts emphasis on treating your whole body and mind to gain self-confidence, promote empowerment of self and build resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My beliefs and values are rooted in empathy, respect, honesty and advocacy. I believe in the inherent strength and resilience within each individual, and I'm dedicated to helping you tap into your inner resources to overcome life's challenges. I have experienced many life challenges that have helped me provide more empathy, understanding and meet clients where they are in their stage of healing.
