About My Clients
I work with clients navigating concerns related to intimacy, sexual functioning, desire discrepancies, communication challenges, anxiety, shame, relationship stress, and life transitions. I am especially mindful of how cultural, relational, and societal messages shape our relationship with sex, pleasure, and self-worth.
My Background and Approach
My approach is affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect. I enjoy practicing CBT, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that sexuality is a natural and important part of the human experience, yet it is often surrounded by shame, stigma, and misinformation. As a sex therapy trainee, I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where individuals and couples can explore concerns related to intimacy, communication, body image, and connection. I view many challenges in this area as rooted in learned beliefs, past experiences, and patterns that can be better understood and reshaped over time. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, allowing me to meet clients where they are while supporting meaningful, lasting change. I am committed to helping clients develop greater self-awareness, reduce shame, and build more fulfilling and authentic relationships.
