About My Clients
I provide therapy for children ages birth to 10 years old, couples, families, and infant caregiver attachment work. I specialize in moderate to severe trauma, infant attachment, postpartum concerns, behavioral issues, school problems, autism, divorce, co-parenting and family conflict. I think outside the box so if other treatments have not helped give me a call.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in Trauma Focused Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, DIR Floortime, A Nutrition Approach, and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also certified in Family and Civil Mediation. My goal is to provide you with as many tools as necessary. Together we will perfect and integrate the tools you will learn in order to alleviate your current stress. I think outside the box and have found great success with individualized and eclectic treatment. We will address your greatest needs first and move to stability and resolution. Children need to feel safe and secure before they can open themselves up to therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there comes a time in everyone's life when trauma or conflict arise. I believe in using the resources around you to help make the most of a difficult time. We all have room to grow and learn. And we all need the space and time to heal. I have had my share of trauma and conflict and without good friends, family and therapy I would not be where I am today. I use to be ashamed of my past but now I use my past to advocate and empower others. I will take the time necessary for you, your child, or your family to process the conflict and rise to live your authentic truth.
