About My Clients

Who Are You? You are someone who has chosen to work toward recovery and healing. Bravo. Whatever stressful or traumatic experiences you've gone though, you've chosen recovery and healing. That's why you're here. We cultivate safety together, and although safety welcomes you, it is not assumed. We co-create inspiration and reimagine what a life worth living could feel like. You are the gem, this journey is yours. I just get to be a passenger. You are worthy of healing.

My Background and Approach

I have intentionally designed a boutique counseling practice where we aim to do things differently: A small business, intentionally crafted with you in mind - from onboarding to insurance to completion of services, I am here with you. A real, authentic connection with me, your therapist, and the services you are receiving, individually or in groups. Autonomy to actively collaborate about your care. Flexibility, creativity and compassion combined with a social justice lens. Therapy is political and mental health is healthcare Integrative Intersectional Therapy involves selecting models and methods from across orientations to best suit a particular client and context. Attachment - Based Counseling, Somatic Counseling, Relational Counseling and Feminist Theory Counseling,

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Authenticity — bringing your full, authentic self to the space. Collective liberation — supporting liberation work, including Land Back, Indigenous sovereignty, and reparations. Anti-genocide solidarity — standing boldly against genocide (Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Tigray, and other violently exploited regions). Anti-carceral values — pursuing safety and solutions outside of police and carceral institutions. LGBTQIA+ support — actively supporting and advocating for LGBTQIA+ people, especially QTBIPOC (an imperfect shorthand for Queer & Trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). Racial justice — acknowledging and integrating racial justice values in our work and relationships. Disability justice, fat liberation, and neurodivergence — acknowledging and integrating these values in our practice and community. Positionality & power — recognizing how positionality, privilege, class, and ableism shape our work, impact, and responsibility.
