About My Clients
I am honored to serve persons that look like me, can relate to my experience, but also happily welcome persons that are different from me, think differently than me, and offer a friendly challenge. I best serve individuals (18+) and couples (married, unmarried, non-traditional relationships). Navigating trauma, relationships, sense of self, ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety are some of my therapeutic strengths.
My Background and Approach
With 10+ years working in the human services field, I’ve developed my craft to be holistic in nature. I would consider myself to be eclectic and integrative. I incorporate traditional psycho education and therapeutic modalities with mind–body practices such as somatic-based therapies, trauma conscious yoga, parts work, and brain spotting to support trauma processing and nervous system regulation. I also enjoy supporting individuals in creating sustainable goals for continued development and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
So, why is TEA in my therapy? Our work together begins with time (T), honoring that real healing cannot be rushed. Through exploration (E), we examine life patterns, deepen awareness through education, and build practical tools. Ultimately, the goal is to help you abloom (A) — growing beyond survival into a more grounded, authentic, and empowered version of yourself. Plus, I just really love tea as a beverage and a metaphor for how our work will look and feel like. It should feel relaxed and warm when we meet; leaving you a little bit brighter each time you leave. My only goal is to support all of the different parts of you that make you, you. Your voice matters and your direction is priority – I’m just happy to be here.
