About My Clients
Have you found yourself feeling untethered after a loss or big life change? Do you wonder how the world keeps moving while you’re stuck in longing, sadness, or overwhelm? Grief can feel heavy and isolating, and transitions can stir up doubt and exhaustion. You don’t have to carry it all alone. Together, we can create space for your pain and your hopes, building tools for steadiness, self-compassion, and a way forward that feels authentic to you.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with experience supporting people through grief, loss, and life transitions. My background includes work in hospice care and private practice, giving me a deep understanding of how disorienting and isolating grief can feel. I use approaches grounded in attachment theory, mindfulness, and emotionally focused therapy to help you regulate your nervous system and feel more grounded. My clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, unsure how to move forward, or guilty for not “doing grief” the way others expect. Together, we’ll build practical tools that bring steadiness and self-compassion into your daily life, while also making room for your authentic emotions. My goal is for you to feel both supported and empowered. To know that while grief may always be part of your story, it doesn’t have to define or consume you. Therapy with me offers a safe space to be seen, heard, and cared for, exactly as you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up fully as yourself, messy, complicated, grieving, hopeful, or all of the above. As a mom of three young kids, I understand the strains of caregiving and the deep desire to honor both your loved ones and your own needs. Outside of therapy, I care deeply about affordable and accessible mental health care, climate justice, and women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. I also find grounding in yoga, being outdoors, and cooking with my family. These simple practices remind me how connection and presence can help us get through hard things. My hope is that when you work with me, you not only feel supported in your grief and life transitions but also connected to someone who believes in authenticity, compassion, and building a more caring world together.
