About My Clients
Are you struggling to find meaning in life? Perhaps you are in a period of transition: between educational endeavors, entering adulthood, switching professional pursuits, leaving or entering a pivotal relationship, or struggling to understand your place within the world and feeling uncertainty around where you belong. Maybe you have everything you could possibly need, yet still feel a vacancy that permeates your thoughts and feelings throughout the day.
My Background and Approach
Counseling is a third career for me. For years I felt misaligned with my values and core beliefs and ultimately realized that I could no longer live incongruently. This internal friction eventually pushed me to pursue a role supporting the growth and development of others. My experiences have allowed me to explore life’s transitions, episodes of uncertainty, periods of darkness and many moments of joy. I have a particular passion helping individuals struggling with existential questions and life transitions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and relational issues. I have been trained in Exposure therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I seek to bring a person-centered approach to the therapy space, supporting my clients in resourcing and accessing the internal tools needed to seek the life he/she/they desires.
