Do you feel overwhelmed by your life? Do you feel that stress is causing you to act like a person you don't want to be? Sometimes life throws a lot at us, and it's more than we can handle. Anger, sadness, anxiety, confusion...there are all emotions that can feel overwhelming at times, and sometimes we need help figuring out how to deal with them.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I have found that the relationship with client creates the vehicle for change. I use a number of orientations, from Gestalt and Narrative Therapy, to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy, to build a relationship based on trust, communication, and my knowledge and expertise, to facilitate change. These are the tools I use to help people make sense of their lives and their experience, to help them navigate through the world better.
