About My Clients
Many of the clients I work with arrive carrying stories shaped by anxiety, trauma, identity stress, or difficult relationships. They may identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or someone navigating the lasting impact of relational wounds. Some have diagnoses like ADHD, Autism, PTSD, anxiety, or depression; others simply know something feels hard. I strive to create a collaborative, affirming, and safe space where clients can better understand themselves, and grow into who they want to be.
How I Can Help You
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the performing arts while earning my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. My background in the arts continues to shape the way I approach therapy through creativity, humor, curiosity, and connection. I am a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who works from narrative and attachment-based perspectives. I believe the stories we carry about ourselves matter, and that our past relationships often shape how we experience ourselves and others today. Therapy can be a space to better understand those patterns while building new ways of relating, coping, and healing. As a Registered Play Therapist, I use play, creativity, and expressive approaches to help children communicate experiences that may be difficult to put into words. I also incorporate these approaches with teens and adults when helpful. I am also an EMDRIA Certified Therapist with advanced training in EMDR therapy to support clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, or depression.
My Values as a Therapist
As a therapist, I check my ego at the door. Therapy is only therapeutic if YOU think it is. I am a collaborate therapist who loves input from clients as we work to find the best structure that works for you.
