Eric Hall

I can provide supervision for mental health and substance use counseling, and have experience working with children, teens, and adults. In my clinical work, I have a strong grounding in person-centered counseling, and often draw from psychodynamic principles particularly in case conceptualization. I am trained in several evidence base practices (EBPs) Motivational Interviewing, Strengthening Families Program (SFP), MATCH-ADTC, Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eco Systemic Therapy and have taken continuing education classes in mindfulness practice. I will also use other theoretical approaches as appropriate for each particular consumer, and these often include solution-focused therapy, CBT, and narrative therapy. With younger children, I will use play therapy to engage them in addressing their feelings and concerns, and practically modeling problem-solving skills where needed.

I started in the field of counseling in hopes of creating change in the community. Since starting in the field of counseling, I have dedicated my time and effort to making a positive impact in the lives served.
