About My Clients
My ideal client may feel stuck, anxious, or uncertain about their next steps but wants things to feel different. I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and big life changes, including LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients. I’m drawn to people who value honesty, humor, and collaboration and are ready to explore their story at a pace that feels right for them.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), I draw from my training in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and CBT approaches to support clients in building insight and self-confidence. I earned my BSW from the University of Wisconsin–Superior and my MSW from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I focused on mental health practice and community advocacy. I’ve had the privilege of working with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients, as well as people managing anxiety, trauma, and systemic barriers. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative and genuine—helping you reconnect with your strengths and feel more grounded in your everyday life.
