About My Clients
Are you desiring changes in your life but have been unable to get started? Are you afraid to discuss your thoughts with someone for fear of rejection? Do you have unrealized potential that remains locked in your fears? Many times these self-imposed roadblocks are indicative of early childhood traumatic experiences. Therapy can help find the internal betrayals that resulted from things that may appear seemingly trivial but nevertheless have negative impacted your life.
My Background and Approach
When working with my clients , I work from a strategic, CBT and narrative approach. Narrative in that the stories of my client's history generally provides a blueprint for the successes as well as the challenges they have experienced in life. Strategic principles are used to help clients move beyond stuck points and get back on track to success. Sometimes we need to employ more specialized techniques which primarily includes EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can overcome their barriers. I believe that hidden within each person is the capacity to win and allow them to enjoy some level of success.
