About My Clients
At Pinnacle Counseling Group, I work with individuals, couples, families, and children navigating high-functioning anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, attachment wounds, and major life transitions. I work best with clients ready to look beneath the presenting problem, whether that's a relationship in crisis, a painful past experience, or a pattern of self-doubt ready to shift. Sessions blend deep relational work with practical, evidence-based tools.
My Background and Approach
I'm the president and founder of Pinnacle Counseling Group, a Sacramento-based practice offering psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, in person (Sacramento & Gold River) and virtually throughout California. We view every client through a non-pathologizing lens, considering your history, environment, and goals, not just a diagnosis. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Communications from the University of Portland. I'm a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). My work draws on psychodynamic therapy, IFS, EFT, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and trauma-informed somatic work. Previously, I spent years in corporate communications and executive coaching at large companies, experience I bring to clients facing career stress and to the clinical supervision I provide for AMFTs and APCCs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Giving back to the community is central to both my personal life and Pinnacle's mission. I currently serve on the Alumnae Board at Saint Francis High School in Sacramento and previously served as secretary of the Sacramento Valley chapter of CAMFT. My volunteer background includes the Dorchester County Mobile Crisis Unit, the Wounded Warrior Project, U.S. Air Force Spouses wellness programs, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
