About My Clients
Despite years of trying to understand yourself, improve your relationships, or make sense of recurring emotional struggles, you may still feel stuck in familiar emotional or interpersonal patterns. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals and couples seeking more than coping skills or symptom relief and are interested in deeper, lasting change. If cost is a barrier, I offer limited reduced-fee appointments based on current availability.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed therapist providing telehealth services in Michigan, Florida, and Virginia. I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in painful emotional or relationship patterns, including recurring conflict, difficulties with trust and closeness, emotional overwhelm, and challenges that continue despite insight, effort, or previous therapy. My approach is depth-oriented and focuses on understanding the patterns that shape how you experience yourself, others, and relationships. Together, we explore how these patterns developed, how they continue to affect your life, and how meaningful change can occur through greater self-understanding, emotional awareness, and new ways of relating. The initial intake session includes consultation, assessment, and collaborative treatment planning to determine whether this approach is a good fit for your goals and needs.
More About the People I Treat
I believe that many emotional and relationship difficulties make sense when viewed in the context of a person's life experiences, relationships, and attempts to adapt. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I believe meaningful change comes from developing a deeper understanding of ourselves, our emotional patterns, and the ways we relate to others. Therapy should be both supportive and honest—a place where difficult experiences can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to growth.
