About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity, family dynamics, and life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and people of color who want to better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and feel more connected to who they are. My approach is warm, relational, and culturally responsive, creating space to explore your experiences without judgment and move toward a more fulfilling, authentic life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder of Prism Therapy, a Los Angeles-based practice committed to culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+-affirming care. My approach draws from psychodynamic, interpersonal, and humanistic perspectives, emphasizing the ways our relationships and life experiences shape how we understand ourselves and navigate the world. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood and developing greater awareness of our patterns, emotions, and needs. Therapy is a collaborative process where we can explore your experiences with curiosity, build on your strengths, and work toward lasting change. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space that honors the complexity of your identity, culture, and relationships while helping you cultivate deeper connections and a more authentic, fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are shaped by our relationships, communities, and the experiences that bring us closer to or further from ourselves. I value curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and the courage it takes to grow, especially when growth means questioning expectations or choosing a different path. I believe our identities and cultural experiences deserve to be understood in their full complexity, and that healing doesn't require us to abandon the parts of ourselves that make us who we are. Outside of therapy, I enjoy drawing, exploring art and design, traveling, and discovering the ways culture and community shape our everyday lives. I bring these same interests in creativity, curiosity, and connection into my work, remaining open to each person's unique story and understanding of what it means to live a meaningful life.
