About My Clients
I have a special interest in working with clients experiencing life transitions, cultural and racial identity issues, ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-care/work-life balance, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
Prior to my career change, I came from a background in global marketing for a large hospitality company. During the pandemic, I decided to combine my passions for human connection and mental health to switch to clinical social work. So, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University. I have clinical experience with an employee assistance program where I worked with clients experiencing suicidal ideation, family conflict, trauma, anxiety, depression, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I seek to create a therapeutic relationship with my clients built on trust, comfort, and emotional safety. I have a tailored approach to each session by meeting the client where they’re at in their therapy journey and making sure they feel heard and supported. I like to incorporate elements from various modalities such as person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
