Anxiety comes in many forms and can look different for everyone. I work with clients to find a path to managing anxiety that works for them. I find one size fits all approaches have made it difficult for many to find relief and want to avoid that in my practice. Honesty and openness to try new things it the most helpful for me and my clients to find the right coping skills for them.

I have spent time researching burnout, specifically in helping careers, in order to better understand how to avoid it and manage the effects. I have written papers on burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma. Now, in my professional life, I have expanded my understanding to burnout that can come from all careers, life transitions, and life experiences. I work with clients to manage stress, create personal self-care and relaxation techniques, and set boundaries to better avoid burnout.
