About My Clients
I admire your courage in taking the first step to improving your mental and emotional well-being. Are you struggling to find a sense of inner peace and contentment? Feeling misunderstood? Overwhelmed by endless self-defeating thoughts? Exhausting all efforts to cope with pain, trauma, fear, relationships, loss, stress? As a client-centered, holistic therapist I'll hold a safe, supportive space for you to show up as your authentic self to cultivate healing and wholeness.
My Background and Approach
During our work together, we will work to identify the sources of your pain/suffering keeping you stuck, spiraling, and/or in survival mode. We will tap into your inner strengths to address the needs of your body, mind, and spirit and carve a pathway for healing. We will examine current thinking/behavior patterns, as well as take a look at your current ways of coping that may no longer serve you. Together, we will work to create more balance and meaning in your life. Although change can be scary, taking the first step to improve your well-being brings you one step closer to your desired life. I believe as humans, we are all unique in our own ways. Each of us holding our own experiences, dreams, fears, sorrows, strengths, and struggles. I aim to meet you where you're at utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions and experiential therapies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe feeling heard, seen, and met with compassion carves the path for healing. I strive to provide support, empathy, worthiness, and a sense of belonging, along with tools to assist you in getting what you need/want. I have worked with co-occurring disorders, treating addiction and other mental health problems for several years and look forward to walking with you in your journey.
