About My Clients
I've helped children and adults successfully treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harming behaviors, childhood trauma, and difficult life transitions. Most of my experience is working with adolescents and young adults, and I particularly have a passion for helping people recover from eating issues and negative body image. My approach is professional, compassionate, and person-centered.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist as well as an EMDRIA-approved Consultant-in-Training. I also have extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions.
