About My Clients

As a queer, disabled therapist, I understand firsthand how systems, identities, and lived experiences shape mental health. I especially enjoy working with women, LGBTQ+ clients, people living with chronic illness or pain, and individuals navigating life transitions, self-esteem challenges, or feelings of not being “good enough.”

My Background and Approach

In our work together, we’ll focus not just on reducing symptoms, but on building a life that feels meaningful, manageable, and authentic to you. Together, we’ll work on quieting self-criticism, managing overwhelming emotions, improving relationships, and helping you feel more connected to yourself and the life you want to build. I strive to create therapy that is practical, emotionally honest, and deeply supportive. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care, I’d be honored to work with you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy is absolutely political. At a time when marginalized communities are under attack more than ever, I believe it is essential to recognize the systems of oppression that shape our lives and deeply impact mental wellbeing. My clinical work is grounded in an awareness of how racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, fatphobia, and economic inequality affect not only individuals, but also the ways people move through relationships, institutions, and the world. As a queer disabled therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. I strive to practice with cultural humility at all times and believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and identities. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, respected, affirmed, and empowered to move toward lives that feel more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
