About My Clients
Do you keep parts of yourself hidden to stay safe? The fear of saying or showing the “wrong” thing can trigger endless what-ifs and second-guessing, making it hard to relax. This leaves you anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from yourself. I work with LGBTQIA+ adults, people navigating relationships, and those struggling with anxiety or perfectionism. In our sessions, you can drop the mask, be fully seen, and explore your identity, emotions, and relationships in a safe, unapologetic space.
My Background and Approach
What if therapy didn’t have to be clinical or cold? I show up with tattoos, hot pink blazers, and a fearless blend of feminist and queer theory. If anxiety, relationship stress, or identity questions keep you spinning, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Using Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy, we’ll get curious about the parts of you that feel messy or “too much,” loosen the grip of perfectionism, and let your emotions lead you toward freedom. My Women and Gender Studies background maintains intersectionality at the center, so we honor how gender, sexuality, race, class, culture, and ability shape your world. Whether you’re exploring gender and sexuality, strengthening your relationship, or just done with anxiety running the show, I’ll meet you with warmth, boldness, and a belief that you deserve a life that feels unapologetically yours. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a biracial, queer woman, I know how powerful it is to be truly seen, and how painful it is when you’re not. My work is grounded in authenticity, honesty, and a deep commitment to intersectionality. I believe that healing happens when we are met with realness and respect, not performance or pretense. Therapy shouldn’t require you to leave parts of yourself at the door. I hold space for the full complexity of your experiences, especially those shaped by race, gender, sexuality, culture, and systems of power. You won’t be asked to explain or justify your identity here. Instead, we’ll work together to make sense of your story in a way that honors your lived experience and reconnects you with your inner truth. In the therapy room, I bring warmth, directness, and a deep respect for your autonomy. I believe in co-creating a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, with me and with yourself. That’s where the real work begins.
