About My Clients
I best serve children and teens who are struggling with big emotions, ADHD, autism, anxiety, emotional regulation, behavior concerns, social challenges, and life transitions. Many of the clients I connect with are bright, capable, and unique, but may feel misunderstood or have a hard time expressing their needs, managing frustration, or handling change. I enjoy helping young people build coping skills, confidence, emotional awareness, and healthier ways to communicate at home, at school, and in
My Background and Approach
My background combines professional experience, lived understanding, and a family-centered approach. As a Certified Family Support Specialist (CFSS), I support children, teens, and families with compassion, practical tools, and real-world understanding. I also have ADHD myself, which gives me personal insight into the challenges of focus, regulation, overwhelm, and feeling misunderstood. I work especially well with children and teens experiencing big emotions, ADHD, autism, anxiety, behavior concerns, social struggles, and life transitions. As a parent who has personally navigated school systems, IEPs, 504 plans, and advocacy for my own children, I understand both the emotional and practical side of getting support. My approach is warm, supportive, and strengths-based, focused on helping clients build confidence, coping skills, emotional understanding, and healthier ways to communicate at home, school, and in everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I care deeply about helping children and families feel less alone. I believe kids do best when they feel safe, understood, and supported, and I value showing up with empathy, patience, and honesty. I am especially passionate about supporting children with big emotions, neurodivergence, and school challenges, while helping parents feel empowered to advocate for what their child needs. My goal is to create a space where families feel accepted, encouraged, and never judged.
