About My Clients
Many of my clients are stuck in patterns that feel difficult to change, especially in relationships. You might notice yourself overthinking, second-guessing your decisions, or striving to get things “right,” while feeling unsure of how to fully express your needs. You may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing, leaving you overwhelmed or disconnected. I work with self-aware adults who want to better understand themselves and create more authentic relationships.
My Background and Approach
My approach is both insight-oriented and practical. I tend to listen deeply and intuitively, helping you map out your inner experiences so they begin to make sense in a new way. Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and gently challenging. Our work won’t fit into a rigid box. It’s tailored to you, while still grounded in evidence-based approaches. My work as a therapist is deeply shaped by my background in social work and my commitment to social justice and collective healing. Many of us carry both intergenerational and present-day experiences that impact how we feel about ourselves, how we relate to others, and how safe we feel in the world. These experiences often show up as anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficulty feeling secure in relationships. I bring a holistic lens to therapy, understanding that mental health is not just an individual experience—it is deeply connected to our environment, our relationships, and the systems we live within.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I know firsthand what it’s like to come from a difficult background, repeat painful relationship patterns, and lose yourself in taking care of everyone else. I myself have struggled with anxiety, burn out and unhealthy relationships over the years. My own journey with therapy has helped me to heal, build a balanced life, and learn how to show up for myself with the same care I gave to others. I enjoy helping people like you to do the same. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent therapist, I understand firsthand what it’s like to navigate a world not always built for you. I’m passionate about helping neurodivergent clients cultivate self-compassion, access supportive tools, and build a life that truly works for them. If you’re someone who has always been the “sensitive one,” the helper or the peacemaker, even when you’re exhausted, you might be ready for a different way of being. If you can do it, so can I!
