About My Clients

My ideal client is a thoughtful, emotionally aware adult or couple who feels stuck in patterns shaped by trauma, anxiety, burnout, low self-worth, or difficult relationships. They may look “fine” on the outside while struggling internally. They want therapy that feels warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental—not clinical or cold. They’re ready to heal, grow, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with themselves in a deeper, more empowered way.

My Background and Approach

I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma/PTSD, relationship challenges, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I specialize in EMDR therapy, helping clients process painful experiences in a way that supports lasting healing—not just temporary coping. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, creating a space where clients can feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I focus on the whole person and what you have going on. I have experience in individual, couples, family, and group therapy settings and I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and attachment-focused work to help clients build healthier relationships, improve emotional regulation, and reconnect with themselves. Clients often tell me they appreciate that therapy with me feels more like talking to a trusted, compassionate person.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am deeply passionate about supporting underserved communities and creating a therapy space where people from all walks of life feel seen, respected, and accepted. I strongly support the LGBTQ+ community and care deeply about neurodiversity, especially as someone with close family and friends in the Autism community. I believe some of life’s greatest growth comes from learning from people whose experiences differ from our own. As both a therapist and trauma survivor, EMDR changed my life personally, which is a huge part of why I feel so passionate about helping others heal from trauma in a meaningful and lasting way. My approach is warm, authentic, nonjudgmental, and human. Therapy with me does not have to feel stiff or overly clinical—I believe healing can happen while laughing, being real, and occasionally even dropping a curse word. Outside of therapy, I love dancing, board games, traveling, beach walks, and dreaming up ways to make the world better every day.
