About My Clients

Do you feel like past still has a hold on your present, even though you know it's behind you? Or maybe family dynamics or earlier experiences continue to shape how you see yourself and relate to others. Or you might find yourself stuck in familiar, frustrating patterns, struggling in relationships, feeling the weight of self-doubt or perfectionism, or sensing a gap between the person you want to be and how you're showing up.

My Background and Approach

I like to start with getting to know who you are - your values, strengths, and the experiences that have shaped you. We’ll explore the patterns that no longer serve you and create space for new possibilities. You might notice yourself showing up more authentically - build healthier connections, trust yourself more, and feel less weighed down by the past. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strength-based. I integrate evidence-based tools like ACT, DBT, and EMDR to support meaningful, practical change. I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin, and aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and down-to-earth. Thank you for considering working with me. I offer therapy in both Mandarin (native) and English (fluent), and I can also converse in Taiwanese. I'm passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where you can bring your true self and explore what you're going through at your own pace.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing is possible for everyone, even if it doesn’t always feel that way. So many of the struggles we carry, like anxiety, shame, or self-doubt, are rooted in protective strategies we developed to survive. That means they’re not flaws in who we are, but patterns we can gently understand, respect, and shift. I also believe that mental health is deeply connected to physical health and forms the foundation of overall well-being. In my own experience growing up, mental health and emotions were often overlooked. Many people tend to address issues only at the surface level, because the deeper emotional struggles often go unseen or unspoken. In our work together, my hope is to help you feel more at home in your own skin, build healthier relationships, and show up more authentically in your life. If you're curious about working together, feel free to reach out through messages or email.
