About My Clients
I am a trauma-informed and licensed clinician and art therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma healing, gender and sexuality, coming out, divorce/seperation, and personal creative and vocational goals. I work with individuals of all backgrounds and orientations and have experience with older teens and adults including LGBTQIA+ and gender-fluid /non-conforming folks. I work often with artists and “helpers” such as healers, teachers, therapists and health or community workers.
My Background and Approach
I blend neuroscience, trauma-healing and art therapy with open and creative conversation to facilitate healing. I believe you don’t have to be an artist in order to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with art materials to support and inform the process of personal growth. I also work with supervisees looking for ATR and ATR-P hours who are interested in working outside of the mainstream culture. I happily offer a free consult for 20 minutes for individuals who have decided they would like to be an art therapist and are in active search of nuanced information about the profession and how things work. I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC). I choose to not in-network with any insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of the appointment. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a long time public advocate, I am socially conscious and am active in the social justice, racial justice, art advocacy, right to health, and LGBTQIA+ communities in various organizations and serve as a mentor to emerging artists and medical health professionals. I sit with humility and strive to be more aware and inclusive and will aways be working to understand my white privilege.
