My Background and Approach
My clinical approach and belief system is that we must first create a safe place in our body and minds so we can in turn feel safe enough to create the life of our dreams. I help people explore their identity to find their true self and step into their power. I come from an empathetic, humanistic and holistic approach, evaluating all of the areas that play a part in your life to help you troubleshoot realistic solutions and find peace. My love for art and storytelling drives me to find creative and applicable solutions to provide you with the best support possible. I believe that every person is capable of bouncing back and seeing life in a new energized light no matter what part of your journey you’re on. Let me help you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer therapist growing up in the south, I have a passion for research and advocacy of all kinds, especially in the LGBTQIA+ community. I’ve found so much light and hope working in a world on fire with individuals who have experienced trauma/PTSD, OCD, dissociation, depression and anxiety. My drive for advocacy work and breaking barriers along with my values of creating safe spaces and trusting relationships with clients has led me to find my calling in Clinical Social Work. EVERY person has the ability to take control of their narrative and live their best life, whatever that looks like for you!
