My Background and Approach
Meet Emily Rosenbloom, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Psychotherapist based in LA and Chicago. Emily specializes in Anxiety, OCD, challenging life transitions, and emotional processing. She brings many years of experience working in both private practice and community mental health settings. Emily’s treatment approach is rooted in a strengths-based, person-centered perspective, utilizing several therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities founded in IFS (Internal Family Systems), CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). Emily believes that therapy is meant to be a collaborative process, and provides a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space to develop skills and nurture feelings of empowerment. She works closely with clients to provide an environment fostering new insights into their lives and patterns, which allows for change that leads to more positive and fulfilling ways of living.
