About My Clients

I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, often during times of change. You may be navigating relationships, anxiety, a new stage of life, or figuring out who you are in the midst of caring for everyone else. I especially enjoy working with parents and those adjusting to parenthood, including the identity shifts, expectations, and relationship changes that can come with it.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is relational at its core. I believe we understand ourselves through our relationships and experiences, so I’m interested not only in what you’re struggling with, but in the context around it. The patterns we want to change often developed for a reason, and understanding them with curiosity rather than judgment can open up new possibilities. I’ll listen closely, notice things alongside you, and sometimes wonder out loud about what might be happening. My hope is to create enough safety for you to slow down, get curious, and come to your own understanding of what you’re experiencing. Our work might involve exploring where certain ways of thinking, feeling, or relating came from, or making space for feelings that are hard to understand. Other times, we may get practical about what could help right now. There’s room for humor and being human, too. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and I’ll tailor our work to you rather than expecting you to fit a part

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe who we are doesn’t develop in isolation. Our relationships, families, cultures, identities, and the expectations around us all shape how we see ourselves. My own experience in therapy helped me question some of the “shoulds” I had about what my life was supposed to look like and ultimately played a role in my decision to change careers. I know firsthand how meaningful, and uncomfortable, that kind of questioning can be. I want therapy to be a place where you can explore your own “shoulds,” figure out what actually matters to you, and make more room to be yourself.
